Title Beginner's Guide to Mailchimp for Email

Communicating and engaging with supporters, stakeholders and beneficiaries is increasingly important for charities to increase income and deliver more services with less. Attractive email campaigns can be a quick and cost-effective way to help you achieve those goals.

And sending email campaigns doesn't have to be a chore or a headache.

Join this training session and learn how MailChimp can help you design email newsletters, share them on social networks, integrate with other online services you already use, and track your results. Quickly, without any specific techie expertise and for free!

Is this training for me?
This course is aimed at anyone who works for a charity that wants to engage more with its users and supporters via email.

This is a beginners course. You will need good basic computer skills but no knowledge of Mailchimp or other email tools.

By the end of the session you'll know how to....

  • set up your mail chimp account
  • import and organise your contact lists
  • create an email campaign
  • prepare email campaigns that get the best response
  • monitor and report on the performance of your emails
  • get more people to sign up to your email bulletins

As this course is completely hands on, giving you time to put into practice what you have learned at each stage, we have built in a working lunch. Please bring something to eat, and we will provide tea and coffee!

Follow up support will also be provided.
