Addressing Sexual Violence within compulsory RSHE Curriculum

Monday 28 September 2020
16:00 to 17:30

This 90 minute Webinar facilitated by Rape Crisis South London / Rape and Sexual Abuse Support Centre (RASASC) is for people in primary and secondary schools in England, who have responsibility for and are planning for the upcoming statutory RSHE curriculum. You may be a teacher, safeguarding lead, SENCO, PSHE/RSE subject lead, member of your schools pastoral team, school nurse and/or part of your schools senior leadership team.

You will hear from specialist front-line practitioners about the social context and reality of young people’s experiences of sexual violence in and out of the school environment. We will also explore key aspects of the RSHE curriculum that relate to sexual violence prevention and will introduce a model of best practice in responding to sexual violence within a whole-school approach.

This webinar is free of charge to attend but you must register to attend via Eventbrite to receive the Zoom link.
