Course Objectives
The course will enable you to:
- Clarify what is mental health and reduce stigma
- Look at ways of proactively supporting your staff
- Understand your obligations under the law
Learning Outcomes
By the end of the course you will be able to:
- Understand how to create conditions that support and encourage good mental health
- Identify the early warning signs of mental ill-health
- Support staff to remain in work, return to work quickly and make effective reasonable adjustments where necessary
- Fulfil your obligations under legislation
This course is specifically for staff with line management responsibility, a practical workshop to managing and supporting employees with mental ill-health in the workplace based on the MHFA Line Manager’s Resource.
