The Untold Story of Loss: New Monthly Bereavement Cafe Themed Sessions

Tuesday 06 October 2020
14:30 to 16:00

The Bereavement Cafe is somewhere you can speak freely and share stories with others coping with losing a loved one. It is a space to talk about the pain of loss but also to find courage and strength in knowing you are not alone. Here it is ok to cry and laugh, to be angry or frightened. You may be more of a talker or better at quietly listening. Sometimes it’s good just to have a cup of tea and hear people’s stories.

Each session covers a different theme around bereavement.  This one will focus on remembering and missing the person you cared for and the emotions this creates for you.

Anyone who has experienced the loss of someone close to them, no matter how recent or long ago, is welcome to join. The café is not bereavement counselling and is facilitated by our Carers Bereavement Counsellor. Sessions will be held on the first Tuesday of every month from 2.30pm to 4pm.
