These are general discussions for local residents with questions and concerns about online privacy and safety.

Clear Community Web will explain the important things we should know about and how to take matters into our our hands whilst feeling more confident and becoming safer

No question is too basic!

Week 1: Cookies, trackers and data protection.

Week 2: Protecting our identity online

Week 3: Password strategy and using password managers

Week 4: Phishing websites, scams and what to do

Crystal Palace Community Trust and the Kingswood Community Shop have partnered with local social enterprise ClearCommunityWeb to provide a series of bite-sized 4-week programmes to help local people to develop their digital skills.

There will be a range of practice sessions for those new to using Zoom, with opportunities for broader discussions; workshops designed to explore internet safety issues; a series of digital life skills sessions, and finally some drop-in technical support sessions designed to get question answered and, hopefully, problems solved.

They will also be signposting residents to other local classes & support services.

They welcome learners at all levels, who may want to build some confidence to get more out of their favorite activity – be it a book group, an exercise classes or an online support service.
