This course is delivered  by Coram Legal Children’s Centre for local authority professionals working with migrant children and young people, with a focus on social workers.  Participants will receive a comprehensive overview of relevant law, policy and processes affecting migrant children and young people in the care system.

The course aims to help professionals working with migrant children and young people to feel confident in understanding their duties, as well as the child’s rights and entitlements in the context of immigration. There will be a particular focus on leaving care support and human rights assessments.
