Wellbeing You will be organising one of it's annual seasonal events, Welderlies Pancake Warmers, a popular fun health event.

March 1st is Shrove Tuesday after which the Christian Lenten Season begins the following day called Ash Wednesday. One of the significances of lent is that some people tend to fast and abstain from some foods during the season.

Interestingly fasting is practiced in many communities in Croydon, the United Kingdom and all over the world and we feel it is important that we look closely at it to see whether there are implications for our health when we fast. ' Please note that this event is not religious in nature and is attended by residents and friends from different communities in Croydon and its environs.

Of course, we will enjoy decorating and eating pancakes with delicious toppings and run the fun pancake race. Other activities include solving related puzzles and light dancing.
