Susan Elkin is professional writer and journalist, so when her husband Nick was diagnosed with Alzheimer's, writing about it seemed the natural thing to do. With his blessing, she blogged weekly until Nick's death in 2019. These blogs - by turns sardonic, insightful, funny, sad, surreal, and informative - are now compiled into a book, The Alzheimer's Diaries.
