Croydon Voluntary Action in partnership with communities warmly invites you to join the local conversation  on the international campaign '16 days of Activism, to end gender-based violence.'
 
We are proud to invite you to our screening of 'Surviving' documentary on escaping Domestic Violence at the David Lean Cinema on Monday the 27th November from 6-8pm.
Following the retelling of our brave survivors lived experience we will open the floor to a Panel of experts for a Q& A, looking to incite conversations of change.
 Our Panel for the evening consists of Alison Kennedy- Strategic lead for Domestic Abuse, sexual violence, modern slavery and operations FJC, Croydon. Inspector Tom Revnell, Police, CEO of Against Domestic Abuse, Ada Ubezi, CEO of Lioness Circle and local councillor- Tamar Nwafor, Survivor- Rachel  Chadwick. 
We then ask you join us for some light refreshments in the Clocktower Gallery and Performances from local and Pan-London Spoken Word Artists. 
This is a celebration of all the individual progress, local and London-wide support that exists concerning Domestic Violence. It has been a joy to hold space, give support and spotlight, those who are Survivors, their lived experiences and the realization of their desires to bring change to this very challenging arena.
