Sustainable Thornton Heath ‘Eco Living Fest’ (South Norwood)

Sustainable Thornton Heath runs bi-monthly ‘Eco Living Fests’ near to Thornton Heath on the 3rd Saturday afternoon (1-4pm) of the respective months (Jan, Mar, May, Jul, Sep & Nov) at Holy Innocents Church Hall in South Norwood. Entrance is free and people can get free help with cycle repairs, free clothes mending skill sharing, free workshops / demos, refills of cleaning & bodycare products, vegan refreshments, a Kids’ Zone, and lots of free information, advice and inspiration from lots of local groups and organisations on many sustainability themes (e.g. energy, activism, financial services and food).

This Fest's FREE workshop will be led by local enterprise CreativiTeas and is a Tea and Tea Bath Bag Making workshopCome and make your own sustainable tea/herbal bags to take home and drink, made with loose leaf tea, herbs and spices. Or tea bath bags for a relaxing bath or foot soak, all made with tea, natural mineral salts, herbs and spices. Places are limited so arrive early if you can!
 
Ian from Holmesdale Road Community Garden will also be selling tomato & herb plants, like we've done in previous years, as well as window boxes.
