Try CALAT Family Learning’s free, fun and interactive workshops!
For parents, carers and children over 5 (unless stated), this is an amazing opportunity to create and learn in a nurturing and inclusive setting. Art, cake decoration, engineering, fashion, soft toy making andTaskmaster games – there’s something for everybody!
From 7-16th April in six locations across the borough.
Thursday 10th April:
Sustainable Sewing: Zero-waste Jackets
Learn to create stylish, zero-waste jackets – no sewing experience necessary! You’ll discover how to craft a unique, fashionable ‘bog jacket’ whilst reducing waste; perfect for the fashion and eco-conscious alike. All materials provided, but feel free to bring your old fabric to upcycle. 1 – 4pm
This workshop is recommended for children aged 10 and over.
