This course runs from 14th May - 11th June - all sessions need to be attended.

Eligibility criteria:

• You are aged 19 +
• You live in a London/Greater London borough
• You are not in full time education
• You have not achieved this qualification before
• Have permission to live in the UK for at least 12 months from the first day of learning

What you’ll learn

• Introduction to autism and key terminology
• Communication and social interaction differences
• How autistic people may experience the world
• Approaches and strategies to support individuals

You’ll explore what autism is, how autistic people may experience the world, and practical approaches to support individuals effectively. This is a non-accredited course however it can be an excellent foundation for the Level 3 qualification.
