Carers Week: Personal Independence Payment (PIP) overview for carers
Friday 12 June 2026
13:00 to 14:30
This is a relaxed, welcoming in-person session created especially for carers.
A comfortable, supportive space where you can take time out, have a cup of tea or light refreshments, and feel at ease while exploring something that can often feel complicated or overwhelming. If you've ever felt unsure about the Personal Independence Payment (PIP) process or found the forms confusing or stressful, this session is for you.
Whether you are thinking about applying, helping someone else, or have started an application and feel you need support, you are warmly invited to book your space.
We will gently guide you through:
-
How to complete a PIP application in a clear and practical way
-
What evidence and information the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) will expect
-
How to describe the impact a condition has on daily routines and life
It's a chance to step into a calm space with others who understand the realities of caring, and to leave feeling more informed, more confident, and better equipped to move forward with a PIP application.
Please note spaces are limited - booking is essential.
