The Stanley Arts Community Assembly 2026

Saturday 04 July 2026
10:30 to 16:30

Are you feeling the impacts of climate change, biodiversity loss and social inequality?
Are you a local citizen wanting to make change for a better future?

Join a day-long gathering in the main hall at Stanley Arts to meet others of all ages living and working in Croydon and neighbouring boroughs to share local concerns, visions and pathways of change for our collective wellbeing.

Take part in conversation and creative activity, and connect and build collaborations with people taking action.

Guest speakers include Leonie Osborne from Croydon Climate Action, Amanda McGrath from Good Food Matters and local campaigners addressing air and water pollution, biodiversity, climate resilience and energy-efficiency. There will be opportunities to connect with local action groups such as Sustainable Thornton Heath and Croydon Community Energy. More speakers and groups are to be announced.

The day will include performances, activities for young people, free vegetarian and vegan lunch, and will end with a networking opportunity in our bar.

Together we’ll leave ready to create collective resilience for the future.

Tickets are free, with an option to make a donation to further our community engagement programming.
