In Croydon uptake of the Flu vaccination remains low and this is of particular concern within our Care Homes. Covid outbreaks continue to present challenges for our Care Homes, this week alone we have 31 new reports of Covid-19 outbreaks in Care Homes with the overwhelming majority of positive cases being amongst staff.

To help combat covid and flu this Winter we are offering a Mobile Vaccination service for Care Homes where residents and staff can receive both covid and flu vaccinations from our friendly team of paramedics.  If you need a first, second or booster dose and or the flu jab our team will administer your vaccinations safely within the Care Home. The service is flexible offering visits across shift times on Thursdays and Fridays throughout January.  Let’s keep our Care Homes as safe as possible for Covid and Flu.
