The South West London (SWL) Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) Alliance is looking to nominate three new VCSE sector representatives to sit on the following NHS boards:
- A strategic delivery board with a focus on the mental health for children and young people; we are looking for CEOs of mental health/counselling voluntary sector organisations working with children and young people, ideally across more than one borough SWL Children and Young People’s (CYP) Mental Health Strategic Delivery Group (recruiting) - Croydon Voluntary Action
- A strategic board looking at Health Equity; we are looking for a VCSE CEO with expertise on Long Term Conditions / older and frail residents, given the focus of the board on promotion of self-care. The VCSE organisations would ideally be working across more than one borough SWL ICS Health Equity Partnership group (recruiting) - Croydon Voluntary Action
- A strategic board looking at prevention in Health Equity; it would be of interest to a sport VCSE group given the focus on healthy life style, ideally working in more than one borough SWL ICS Prevention Delivery Group (recruiting) - Croydon Voluntary Action
The SWL VCSE Alliance is a project championing and representing the voluntary sector in South West London (Merton, Croydon, Wandsworth, Kingston, Richmond and Sutton). Our Voluntary Sector representatives are CEOs/senior managers of local charities/community groups with expertise and knowledge of the sector. Their role is to speak on behalf of the Alliance and advocate for the views and perspective of the sector while promoting joint working within the NHS in South West London.
We provide a reimbursement of £75 per meeting (until funding is available). More information, role descriptions and forms to express interest in the individual links above. Deadline for applications is Monday 10/3/2025.
