This funding deadline has now passed.
New Era Croydon, funded by the Mayor of London’s Violence Reduction Unit and hosted by CVA, is bringing £100,000 in small grants into Croydon’s local voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise (VCFSE) sector.
Our aim this year is to support a range of activities specifically for young people, up to 25 years old, to be delivered in Croydon Town Centre and West Croydon.
We particularly want to fund:
- Initiatives and activities that support young people to be in safe spaces after school.
- Parental / family support to guide and support children and young people away from serious youth violence.
- Specific activities for young girls and teenagers, encouraging positive behaviours and providing opportunities.
The minimum grant distributed will be £5000, up to a maximum of £10,000 per organisation.
We particularly want to support grassroots groups with an annual income of £75,000 or less.
You need to be a constituted group with a constitution, a safeguarding policy and Public Liability insurance.
