What happens at the Waterside Centre?
A wide variety of activities take place on a regular basis, including:
Older People: UNACC (Upper Norwood Association for Community Care) is a Social Centre for older people 50+ and meets Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays 9.00am -3.00pm. UNACC activities include: lunch, mobility classes, computer support, outings and holidays.
Children: The Foster Care Agency runs support sessions for foster carers. Crosfield Nursery School runs Stay and Play for pre-school children. There is also a community cafe, focusing on children and family activities.
Leisure Activities: Include – yoga, cricket, sailing, martial arts, aerobics, pilates, kettlebells, and ballet and tap classes for children.
