Emma’s Story 

Emma came to the volunteer centre through the Volunteer Buddy project with Croydon Mencap, she has been volunteering with CVA Volunteer Centre on a weekly basis since Dec 2021.Since the Emma has accumulated an impressive 250hrs of volunteering.

The role

Emma supports the volunteer centre by compiling information for our Volunteer Centre Newsletter which goes out to approx. 2500 subscribers, you can view previous newsletters here and see the work that Emma does. Not only does Emma work on the Newsletter she also supports with research looking in to information for our social media campaigns as well as building a list of awareness days throughout the year.
