Workshop to Raise Awareness of Prevent is a 60-90 minute long session that includes a presentation and group exercise .

The session introduces the Prevent strategy, discusses referral pathways and explores radicalisation as a phenomenon. WRAP training is delivered on-site and they have the flexibility to arrange dates and times that are convenient.

Attendees should leave WRAP sessions with the ability to notice concerns that may make individuals vulnerable to radicalisation, what a proportionate response looks like and the confidence to raise concerns when someone may be at risk.

Target group: frontline staff in social services, probation, education, health and private and voluntary sector. Those working within the public sector are legally bound to comply with the Prevent duty with an awareness of the duty being vital to best practice.
