Volunteers’ Week provides a special opportunity to shine a light on the incredible contributions made by volunteers. The week-long celebration, from 3 to 9 June, acknowledges the efforts of dedicated individuals, connects communities and inspires more people to get involved. 

By celebrating, connecting and encouraging volunteers, we strengthen our communities and create a culture of giving and compassion. This Volunteers’ Week, let’s honour those who give so much and improve the lives of so many in our communities. 

Get involved during Volunteers’ Week 

Here are some ways you can participate: 

• Share your story: If you’re already a volunteer, share your experiences and the impact of your work with London Lifelines. 
• Thank a volunteer: Take the time to thank the volunteers in your community. A simple gesture of appreciation can go a long way in making volunteers feel valued. 
• Spread the word: Raise awareness about volunteering by talking to friends, family and colleagues about the importance of volunteering and how they can get involved. 
• Sign up to volunteer: If you have previously thought about volunteering, now is the perfect time to start! Join one of our events.
