Decisions on primary care resources would be agreed locally, but the NHSE would still be members of all Croydon primary care committees and influence this (currently the CCG influences decisions but the sign off is from NHSE).
GP workforce, population growth, a significant variation in type of population in different parts of the borough and primary care premises have been identified as local challenges in Croydon. Technology will need to allow for improved sharing of records/remote consulting.
